Pyramid Scams

An unfortunate situation is ruining good and honest companies nowadays. They are often misperceived as scams. The Enigin scam rumor is a good example. Enigin, a company dedicated to helping households and commercial industries save energy and money, is trying to seek well-driven individuals to become their partners in one of the fastest expanding market today. This is perceived as a pyramiding scam by many.

With many people trying to think of ways to earn money as much as they think of ways to save, it is not surprising why there are organizations and individuals that take advantage of this interest to deceive people into giving up their money. One of the deceitful acts such groups and individuals may use is the so-called business opportunities that can help one earn a considerable amount of money within just days of being a member, without even having to exert much effort. Members will be introduced to products they can use and will be encouraged to refer other individuals to become members or “partners” of the company and users of the product. The individual may then receive a referral bonus as well as the percentage of the income of the members they referred into the organization.

Such fraud organizations do not even make revenues from the products they promote. Instead, they make money out of the trusting individuals they are able to lure into their scams.
